Surge in Cholera Cases Across The State: Udupi Health Department Urges Precautions

There has been a surge in cholera cases across the state after which Udupi health department has urged people to take precautions. Local authorities have been instructed to take precautionary measures to curb the spread of the disease in the district.

One of the key directive instructed by the health department in mandating the street food vendors to maintain hygiene standards which selling food. Selling cut fruits in open conditions often attracts dust and flies which has to be avoided. The health department stressed the importance of maintaining cleanliness in food consumption and persona hygiene practices.

The health department informed that people who experience symptoms of cholera have to seek medical attention immediately.
