Suspend MP Nalin Kumar Kateel from BJP: MLC Ivan D’Souza
May 19: MLC Ivan D’Souza urged the Dakshina Kannada BJP unit to demand the suspension of sitting MP Nalin Kumar Kateel from the party for comparing Mahatma Gandhi’s assassin Nathuram Godse with former prime minister Rajiv Gandhi.
He said that the BJP has already served a notice to Kateel seeking an explanation within 10 days and if the BJP feels that Kateel’s tweet is wrong, then they should carry out a procession demanding the suspension of Kateel.
