Suvarna Gopura and Brahmakumbhabhisheka to Lord Krishna: Save the dates

May 29: Paryaya Palimaru Mutt pontiff Sri Vidhyadheesha Theertha Swami the ceremony to dedicate the Suvarna Gopura to Lord Krishna would be held on June 6 and the Brahmakalshotsava ceremony would held on June 9. The religious and spiritual ceremonies will begin from May 31 at the Krishna Mutt. The ceremony would be inaugurated by the Uttaradi Mutt pontiff Sri Satyathma Theertha Swami on May 31.
Several programmes are organised at the mutt premises on account of Suvarna Gopura and Brahmakumbhabhisheka.

Below are the list of the programmes organised:

Camp on Sanskrit dialogues would be organised on June 1 along with Shobha Yatre from Jodukatte to Krishna Mutt.
Vishnusahasranamapura Laksharchane and Lakshmishobhane would be organised on June 2.
‘Lakshabilvarchane’ and ‘Rudrabhisheka’ are organised on June 3.
Sri Krishan Kavya Sammellan is organised on June 4. ‘Hasiru Horekanike’ is also organised in the evening.
‘Gosti’ is held and Tulasi saplings would be distributed on June 5.
The dedication of Suvarna Gopura would be held on June 6.
The Brahmakumbhabhisheka would be held on June 9.

For the first time in the history of Dakshina Kannada and Udupi district, the Sahasra Kumbhabhisheka would be held for the Gopuram. The rituals will be performed by the pontiffs of Ashta Mutt and the ‘Shikara Kalsha’ of the Gopuram was installed by pontiff Vadiraja.
