‘Swacch Manas Programme 2019’ and ‘Magic for Cleanliness’ join hands in Mangalore

‘Swacch Manas Programme’, is an awareness programme on cleanliness. Children from 10 schools participated in the programme. The programme aims of reaching over 13,000 students so far. More than 100 shows had been organised under the ‘Magic for Cleanliness’, so far to inculcate cleanliness among young minds through innovative and interesting magic tricks.
MRPL Group general manager B H V Prasad addressed the gathering on the occasion, and said that the efforts of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in initiating the Swacch Mission are commendable. He mentioned that as a public sector company, MRPL has been mandated to support the Swacch Bharat Abhiyan. It forms an important part of the monthly meetings and is being reviewed at the highest level.
The general manager explained that a Swacchata Action Plan is submitted every year, which monitors the progress and planning. Along with this innovative programmes are held for people belonging to all age groups and strata of society.
Badges and oath cards were distributed to the students, who later participated in a mass oath-taking ceremony.
