Swaccha, Sundara Namma Kudla by BJP if Elected for MCC Council

November 7: The BJP manifesto for the election of the council in
Mangalore City Corporation at the BJP office in Mangalore on Wednesday, November 6.
Dakshina Kannada BJP district president Sanjeeva Matandoor, MLA Vedavyas Kamath, former MLCs Monappa Bhandary, Capt Ganesh Karnik, former MLA Yogish Bhat,  and others were present during the release of BJP manifesto.

District BJP President Sanjeeva Matandoor said that The BJP will work to bring in transparency in governance and will form ward committees in all the 60 wards. We will accept the suggestions from the public in carrying out developmental works. The long-pending demand to have a rangamandira will be fulfilled if elected to power. The BJP also promised to develop the Miyawaki Urban Forest on available land in Mangalore . “By planting more saplings, a Green Mangalore will be created. The governance in the MCC will implement laws including ban on begging, substance abuse, harassment of children and special emphasis will be given for the protection of lone women in the city. the manifesto promised to introduce a single window system, paperless office, online payment gateway and online certification gateway for the benefit of citizens. All the row over property card will be solved to the benefit of citizens, the president said.
The unscientific hike in taxes during the Congress rule in the MCC will be reduced if the BJP is elected to power, also promised to improve the infrastructure in railway station. Further, it promised to desilt the stormwater drains to prevent artificial flooding during monsoon. Playground, library, park, pedestrian way will be constructed in all the wards for the benefit of citizens of all age groups. A permanent solution will be given to the row over garbage slide at Pacchanady. Steps will also be taken to dispose construction debris and upgrade of the landfill sites at Pacchanady. To reduce the traffic congestion inside the city, the BJP has promised to construct satellite bus shelters on the outskirts of Mangalore. All the 60 candidates of the BJP will take a pledge to work towards a corruption-free Mangalore ,” the BJP president declared.
