Swacchata Abhiyan by RK Mission-Week 17

Ramakrishna (RK) Mission Swacchata Abhiyan’s week 17, Shramadan of 5 th phase was carried out in Attavara area on March 31, Sunday. The Shramadan was jointly commenced by Yogacharya Dr Jagadish Shetty and Prof. Ramya Shetty of SDM Management College, Kodialbail. The effort started opposite of Big Bazar at Attavara.
Umanath Kotelkar, Pramila Shetty, Dr Rajendra Prasad, Narendra Kumar, Aniruddha Nayak, Taranath Alva, Subraya Nayak, Masa Hiro, Sandip Kodikal and others were also present on the occasion.
The road near Madhusudan Kushe School was cleaned. Heaps of mud lying on the side of the road was removed using JCB. Dirt and garbage which was heaped was also removed, the over grown weeds and grass was also cleaned. A team of volunteers visited hundreds of houses in Attavara area and distributed awareness handbills.
