Swacchata Abhiyan by RK Mission-Week 20

April 21: The Swacchata Abhiyan by Ramakrishna Mission(RKM) was carried out at Bendoorwell on April 21, Sunday. The shramadaan was jointly launched by Shivaram Adoor, Rotarian, Seaside Rotary Club, Mangalore, and Shraddha, social worker, Bengalore, in the presence of Swami Ekagamyananda, convener of the Mission’s Abhiyan. Volunteers carried out the abhiyan on the Bendoorwell – Balmatta main road.
A group of volunteers repaired the footpaths. The gaps between the slabs that had been causing inconvenience to the pedestrians were covered. Construction debris and pieces of broken concrete pillars were also cleared. Banners and posters were also removed by the volunteers.
