Swachh Survekshan 2023: You Can Now Submit Your Reviews About Mangalore City
The ministry of housing and urban affairs (MoHUA) has launched Swachh Survekshan 2023. Mangalore City Corporation (MCC) has appealed citizens to participate in the online survey. MCC commissioner Anand CL has requested people to respond to the survey and submit positive suggestions for the city.
The online voting of the MoHUA will be open till August 16. Citizens may log on to https://sbmurban.org/feedback and fill in details to participate in the survey.
Swachh Survekshan is the world’s largest urban sanitation and cleanliness survey. It has been instrumental in fostering a spirit of healthy competition among towns and cities to improve their service delivery to citizens and towards creating cleaner cities. The primary goal of Swachh Survekshan is to encourage large-scale participation of citizens and create awareness amongst all sections of society about the importance of working together towards making towns and cities better places to reside in.
Mangalore was ranked 63 in the Swachh Survekshan 2017, 52nd rank in 2018, 165th in 2019, 192nd in 2021 and 146th rank in 2022. In 2020, there was no Swachh Survekshan survey due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
