Take measures to mitigate the water crisis in Udupi: MLA Raghupati Bhat to District Administration

April 27: MP Shobha Karandlaje and MLA K Raghupathi Bhat have urged the district administration to take required measures to reduce the water crisis in the city. They met Deputy Commissioner Hephsiba Rani Korlapati on Friday to discuss the issues on water crisis in Udupi.
MLA Bhat said that since Baje reservoir that supplies water to Udupi has gone dry, the residents are struggling to fetch a pot of water. However, alternative arrangements should be made to supply water to the residents and measures should be taken to supply water towards through water tankers, he urged the district administration.
