Team led by Mangalorean is all set to enter the Guinness World Record

May 14: After successfully creating mosaic of a tiger using 1,200 Rubik’s Cubes, 293 cubers from Karnataka, are now waiting for the final approval from the Guinness World record. The team was given a target of 251 cubers to create a mosaic using maximum Rubik’s Cubes. Now the team is all set to bag ‘Most Contribution to a Rubik’s Cube Mosaic’, which will be new title in
in Guinness World Records. The attempt for world record was successfully made by the team at Bannerghatta in Bengalore on May 5.
The team led by Mangalorean Prithveesh K, given a target of creating mosaic image using Rubik’s Cubes with not less than 251 participants. The team with 293 cubers from Karnataka successfully contributed to the Rubik’s Cube mosaic using 1,200 Rubik’s Cubes. The image created was of a ‘Tiger’, which pleaded the conservation of our national animal.
The whole process of creating the mosaic by the participants has been recorded and all evidences including visuals have been sent to the Guinness World Records authorities and Approval from the authorities is expected within a week, as the team has succeeded in creating the mosaic as per the criteria given by the Guinness authorities.
The team led by Prithveesh, who was an electronic engineering student of SDM Institute of Technology (SDMIT) in Ujire, Dakshina Kannada.
