Teen loses life while swimming
June 13: A 16-year-old drowned in Kumaradhara river, near Shantimogaru in Kadaba taluk on Wednesday. The deseased has been identified as Mohammed Aswan, a resident of Savanoor.
Aswan along with his six friends had gone swimming, when the incident took place. Police sources said that he drowned accidentally swimming. His body was retrieved with the help of swimmers and fire fighters.
A case has been registered at Kadaba police station.
