The First Ever Indian Paddle Festival Will be Held in Mangalore From March 8 to10 at Sasihitlu Beach
The Association of PaddleSurf Professionals World Tour (APP) has announced its entry in India with the country’s first-ever international stand-up paddling championship. The India Paddle Festival will be held at Sasihithlu Beach from March 8-10. The stand-up paddle (SUP) event will be conducted before the launch of the 2024 APP World Tour.
The event is presented by Karnataka tourism and organised by the Surfing Swami Foundation will welcome selected top athletes from the APP World Tour, as well as other aspiring professionals from the region.
Sekar Patchai, who ranks first in SUP in India and 4×SUP Japanese World Champion Shuri Araki, 17, who is also the youngest in history to win the world title at the age of 16, will also take part in this event.
