The Much Needed Construction of Multi Level Car Parking & Commercial Complex at Hampankatta To Resume on December 10
The much needed work on construction of multi-level car parking-cum-commercial complex building at Hampankatta will resume on December 10, said Mangalore Mayor Manoj Kumar. The Mayor said that the project came to a standstill since one of the partners of the concessionaire passed away sometime ago. Now, the wife of the partner has promised to resume the project work by December 10. Arunprabha, general manager (Technical), Mangalore Smart City Limited (MSCL), said once the work resumed, the project is expected to be completed in 18 months.
The building will have two basement floors, one ground floor and four floors. About 400 cars can be parked in the building in addition to about 200 two-wheelers. The entry to the building will be from K. S. Rao Road and the exit will be to the Light House Hill Road.
