These measures will be taken to prevent accidents: Commissioner Sandip Patil

May 22: City Police Commissioner Sandip Patil organised a coordination meeting to prevent accidents. While speaking during the meeting, Commissioner Patil said that he has directed officials to take corrective measures like laying of humps, better lights, cautionary sings and dividers, to prevent accidents. He mentioned that the police have already identified accident-prone areas and corrective measures will help check mishaps.
The police commissioner also requested the RTO to suspend the driving licences of those involved in road accident. The meeting was attended by officials from Mangaluru City Corporation, NHAI, RTO and PWD.
