This Awareness Drive is making rounds on Social Media!

As soon as the Election Commission Of India announced the poll dates, there is a sense of worry among the political parties over the voter turnout.

Polling of Phase 2 for 14 constituencies in Karnataka State will be held on April 18th-Thursday, while April 17th -Wednesday is Mahavir Jayanthi, April 19th is Good Friday, April 20th is Saturday & April 21st as Sunday.

Political parties have raised a concern over the holidays, saying that this may impact the polling percentage as people may have planned to travel in advance.

However it is seen that several messages on whatsapp & other social media are making rounds requesting the people to come & vote without considering it as a holiday week. Messages regarding the importance of right to vote the its consequences are being shared to create awareness among the citizens of India.
