This children’s park in Mangalore gets a facelift

May 6: The Children’s Park at Police Lane in Pandeshwara,is a bad condition for a long time has finally received a facelift. The Ramakrishna Mission had taken up the renovation work under its Swaccha Mangalore campaign. The park is spread over 2,500 square feet.
Paintings adorn the walls of the park and make it attractive for children. Along with this messages on socially relevant topics also adorn the walls. Playing equipment which wee is bad condition have been replaced with the new ones for children to play. The slide inside the park has been repaired and painted. Ornamental plants have also been planted and interlocks have been laid inside the park. Seating arrangements have also been made at the park.
The renovated park was inaugurated by Superintendent of Police Lakshmi Prasad on Sunday, May 5.
