This Doctor from Mangalore bags best photography award in a Photo contest at USA

May 25: Dr Akhter Husain, professor and head of the Department of Orthodontics, Yenepoya Dental College (YDC), Mangalore recently bagged the International Photography Award’s (IPA) in One-shot/Street Photo contest at Los Angeles, USA.
The photograph shot by Dr Akhter depicts a cycle wheel and its shadow at a street in the Netherlands creating a monochromous graphic image against the patterned brickwork on street.

The International Photography Award’s (IPA) aims to to discover new and emerging talent in photography and to salute the achievements of the world’s finest photographers.
