This Government School from Tulunad region achieves 100% results eighth time in a row

May 1: Nammura Shaale in Guruvayanakere in Belthangady taluk, Dakshina Kannada District has become the only government school in Karnataka to achieve 100% pass results in SSLC exams for the eighth time in a row.
The school headmaster Jagannath said that out of the 78 students who wrote the examination, 51 had scored above 80% and a student topped the taluk with 612 marks. The students of this school are counselled prior to the start of examinations. The morning missed-call strategy – where teachers give missed calls to students 5 am onwards until they are wide awake – also has inspired other schools.
Out of the total 84 schools which had recorded 100% results, 17 are government, 5 are aided and 62 are unaided schools.
