This group of youths give a facelift to temple tank

May 9: Members of the Kundapura-based Yuva Brigade have given a facelift to the Kalyani (temple tank) of Vinayaka Temple at Moodahadu Yadabettu in Sasthana Gundmi. The tank, which was filled with silt, is situated adjacent to NH 66. The volunteers removed the silt.
The local residents said that if the gram panchayats take up the work on rejuvenation of lakes with the help of local organisations, then shortage of water can be mitigated to some extent.
