This is how an auto driver saves lives of passengers travelling in his autorikshaw

April 24: Auto driver Umesh Poojary who was travelling from Talapady to Someshwar Park with three women and two children had a miraculous escape as he noticed the mango tree on the verge of collapse and stopped the autorikshaw on time. As a result only a small portion of the autorickshaw was damaged and the lives of all six including the driver was saved.
The tree was located near the Kotekar panchayat office. The road was later cleared for traffic by the Ullal police and MESCOM personnel.
