This is how Mother Mary Sodality observed Good Friday

April 20: Mother Mary Sodality of the city observed Good Friday by distributing fruits to patients in the Wenlock hospital. Msgr Denis Moras Prabhu distributed the fruits to the patients and said that Jesus Christ died on the cross 2,000 years ago in order to relieve man from sin. This day is celebrated throughout the world with devotion, fasting, prayer and alms-giving. The act of Mother Mary Sodality is an exemplary one, which befits the message of the day.
Wenlock hospital Resident Medical Officer (RMO) Dr Julian Saldanha, Sodality President Vivian Sequeira, Secretary Ligory Fernandes and programme convenor Sushil Noronha were also present.
