April 13: Mangalorean man quits his job in Australia just to ensure he could cast his vote to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Sudhindraa Hebbaar, 41, a resident of Surathkal, who was currently working as screening officer at the Sydney Airport from one-and-a-half years quits his job just to caste his vote for loksabha election and see Narendra Modi as Prime Minister for the second term.
He was on leave from April 5 to April 12 and was not able to extend his leave till April 18 as the Sydney airport experiences heavy rush due to Easter and Ramzan. He is a Permanent Residency card-holder in Australia and said that finding another job shouldn’t be an issue. He mentioned that he would be staying in Mangalore till the elections results are announced on May 23 after which he will go back to Australia and search for a new job.
