This is what Minister Suresh Prabhu said in Mangalore

April 15: Union Minister for Commerce and Industries and Civil Aviation Suresh Prabhu was addressing a press meet on Monday, April 15 in Mangalore. While speaking to the reporters, he expressed his confidence that the NDA would form the government in the Centre again. He said that Narendra Modi will take over as prime minister for the second time and MP Nalin Kumar Kateel will be re-elected as MP for the third time.
Prabhu said that The NDA Government has been focusing on the improving the trade and industry during the past five years and the establishment of infrastructure has been the prime focus of the Central government.
He further said there is an increase in exports in India. The service exports reached $ 210 billion and the merchandise exports stood at $ 330 billion, bringing down the trade deficit to a great extent which increases economic development.
He also said that welfare programmes such as Ayushman Bharat, a record allocation of Rs 8.5 lakh crore to the Department of Railways and Industrial Growth will bring the BJP back to power. He listed out the other schemes like government is committed to providing a good market price for coffee, tea, rubber, tobacco and spices,  thrust will be laid on the export of fish, encouraging seafood marketing in India. The ministry is working on the project of a spice park in Chikkamagaluru, which will benefit growers, he mentioned.
Mangalore  South MLA D Vedavyas Kamath, former MLA Yogish Bhat, BJP candidate Nalin Kumar Kateel, Puttur MLA and BJP district committee president Sanjeeva Matandoor, and BJP district committee vice president Ravishankar Mijar were present at the press meet.
