Three arrested for illegal cricket betting

April 5: Anti Rowdy Squad along with Kavoor police have busted an illegal cricket betting racket at Moodshedde Golf Club. The Police have arrested 3 persons involved and seized four cellphones and a cash of Rs 66,000 during the raid.
The arrested have been identified as Mayyadi (37) from Ulaibettu, Kumar Shetty (39) and Umesh (47) from Moodshedde. Police said that they were involved in the betting with the help of an app (application) M Marketplay. Betting was done on the match between RCB and Rajasthan Royals at Moodshedde Golf Club.
