Tourists Barred From Stepping Into Water at Malpe Beach: This is The Reason
In view of the rough sea due to the impact of Cyclone Biporjoy, tourists have been barred from stepping into the waters at the Malpe beach. The beach authorities have put up safety nets and have installed red flags along the one km stretch of the beach area which is regularly thronged by devotees.
Tourists can enter the water only after the red flags are replaced by yellow flags. But that will only be done in the last week of August or first week of September.
