Traffic Diversion Announced in Mangalore City Ahead of Governor & CM’s Visit on May 25 & 26: Click to Know

As the governor, chief minister and other VVIPs will be in Mangalore city to attend a private programme at TMA Pai Convention Centre, the city police have announced diversion of vehicular movement and ban on parking of vehicles on a few roads on May 25 and 26.

All the median openings on Navabharath Circle-PVS-Lady Hill Circle stretch (at Besant Junction, Kodialguthu Cross, Ballalbagh Junction, Nehru Avenue Junction) will be closed. All the vehicle users using the stretch have been asked to use alternative roads.

All motorists using roads from PVS Junction to Lady Hill Circle and MG Road should use Bejai Church Road/Kudroli road. All city buses and express buses that ply on KS Rao Road, MG Road, Bunts Hostel should move via Hampankatta-Dr Ambedkar Circle-Balmatta-Horticulture Junction-Kadri Junction-Nanthoor. All buses from Kottara Chowki to State Bank bus terminus should ply via Nanthoor. All the buses from and to KSRTC bus stand should enter through Kuntikana Junction. Parking of vehicles on both sides of the road from PVS Junction to Lalbagh Junction, MG Road, PVS Junction to Bunts Hostel Junction, Lalbagh Junction to KPT Junction has been banned.
