Traffic Diversions Announced Ahead of PM Modi’s Visit to Mangalore on April 14: Click to Know
Prime Minister Modi’s road show will be held in Mangalore on April 14 from Narayana Guru Circle to Navabharath Circle. Mangalore city’s police commissioner has issued traffic diversions to ensure smooth movement and security arrangements during the event.
Traffic will be prohibited from Narayana Guru Circle to Hampankatta from the afternoon until the conclusion of the program in the evening.
Traffic will also be not be allowed from 2 pm on Sunday from Kottara Chowki, Urvastore, Kotekani Cross towards Ladyhill, Mannagudda towards Ladyhill, Urwa Market towards Ladyhill (Narayana Guru Circle), Sharada Vidyalaya Road to Navabharat Circle.
People arriving to watch the roadshow will have to park their vehicles by 6 pm at the allotted places at Karavali grounds, Ladyhill school grounds, Ladyhill Church grounds, Urva Market Grounds, Urwa store grounds, Urva Canara School, Canara College, Dongerkeri Canara School, Ganapathi School, Ramakrishna School, Bunts Hostel, grounds, CV Nayak Hall grounds, TMA Pai Hall grounds, BEM School grounds, Nehru Maidan, Town Hall Parking area, Kadri grounds, KPT grounds, Paduva College Grounds, Gold Finch City grounds, Sultan Batheri grounds, Gokarnnatheshwara College ground, Ymmekere ground, University College, Milagres Church grounds, Milagres College grounds, Shanthi Nilaya grounds and St Sebastian Hall Parking place.
Vehicles arriving in Mangalore from Udupi should proceed via Kottara Chowki, Kankanady Junction, and Clock Tower; vehicles from the Bejai Church area should proceed to Kuntikan via Bejai and vehicles from Kuntikan should reach Bejai Church area via KSRTC. Vehicles from Pumpwell should proceed via Karavali Junction, Milagres Junction, and Clock Tower; vehicles from Mangalore to Pumpwell should proceed via Lady Goschen and Kankanady Junction. Vehicles from Car Street and Kudroli should proceed via Mannagudde, Ashok Nagar, and Kodikal.
