Traffic Signal Lights Resume at KPT Junction in Mangalore: Much Needed

The traffic signal light system has been resumed at KPT Junction in Mangalore which is one of the busiest junction in the city. The junction passed through National highway 66 and has been causing traffic congestion and accidents. The junction had traffic light system few years back but was withdrawn due to some reason. The system has been resumed on pilot basis.

Accordingly, the vehicles commuting on the highway are being allotted two minutes while vehicles on other side are allotted one minute. The traffic police are also present at the junction to give instructions to drivers. The police are hoping that the confusion will be resolved within a week and that traffic will flow smoothly and safely.
