Tragedy at Ganjimutt kills one: Know what happened
June 7: Centering of well was under construction at Ganjimutt tile factory. A slab which was being laid around a well collapsed on a worker and killed him. The deceased labourer has been identified as Venkappa Kulal (38) son of Sesu Moolya, a resident of Siddakatte in Bantwal taluk. Another labourer Ashok Shet was also injured in the mishap.
A case has been registered at Bajpe police station in this regard. Sources in Bajpe police station said that the body of Venkappa was shifted to the mortuary of a private hospital.
