Trucks seized for illegal sand transport
April 5: Two trucks which were transporting sand without permit were seized by police on Thursday evening. The truck registration numbers are KA 19 AB 2512 and KA 19 AA 9303. The trucks were handed over to Department of Mines and Geology by the police for further investigation. The value of sand along with trucks is estimated to be around Rs 31 lakh.
