Udupi: Congress workers upset over this decision taken by Congress High Command!

March 16: The Congress & JD(S) coalition Government has come up with seat sharing arrangement for the upcoming Loksabha polls. This has given Udupi-Chikmagalur constituency to the JD(S). This decision to leave Udupi-Chikmagalur constituency to JD(S) has not gone well with the congress workers in this region.
Udupi DCC President Ashok Kumar Kodavoor demanded to retain the seat for the party. He mentioned that congress workers are active at the booth level  whereas the JD(S)has no elected representatives in the Panchayat level & are not active at block level as well. He said that this is mockery of democracy.
The congress workers expressed disappointment at the decision. They said that this decision has helped the BJP’s agenda of wanting a Congress free Udupi as there is no chance of JD(S) winning the area.
