Udupi district administration clarifies on Hotel rooms statement

April 12: Few days back reports said that Udupi district administration issued a statement saying that No hotel rooms for those who skip voting and action would be taken against hotels giving rooms to people who skip loksabha polls.
The Udupi district administration has clarified that it has not issued any direction to hotels and lodges on not to book hotel rooms for those who skip voting and has nothing to do with the order issued by Shivamogga district administration.
