Water Level Comes Down in These Rivers: Check Out
August 12: Water level in River Nethravathi, Kumaradhara and Gundyahole in Dakshina Kannada has receded. The water level in River Nethravathi is 9 metres where as the danger level is 8.5 metre, while it was 29.40 metres in Uppinangady against danger level of 31.5 metre.
The water level in River Kumaradhara at Uppinangady is 26 metres against the danger level of 26.5 metres. The water level of Gundyahole stream stood at 4.50 metres against the danger level of 5 metres.
This drop in the water level brings a little relief to the people living nearby.
