Water Supply to These Areas in Mangalore Will Be Suspended For 2 Days Starting June 2

There will be disruptions in the water supply from June 2 to June 4 in certain areas within Mangalore city limits. Residents of Mangalore City have been notified by the Mangalore City Corporation (MCC) regarding the same.

These areas include PVS, Ladyhill, Port, Bejai, Suterpet, Maryhill, Pachanadi, Ashoknagar, Derebail, Kodialbail, Kadri, Naguri, Surathkal, Katipalla, Kuloor, Jalligudde, Kodikal, Kana, Bala, Kulai, Mukka, Panamboor, among others.

The reason for sisruption is maintenance work taking place on the Thumbe-Bendoorwell-Panambur 1000mm pipeline near Adyar Katte. Additionally, the Karnataka Urban Infrastructure Development and Finance Corporation (KUIDFC) will be reinstalling a 900mm diameter pipe near Kottara Chowki.
