Weather Conditions in UAE Resulted in Delays & Disruptions of Flight From Mangalore International Airport to Dubai

Inclement weather conditions prevailing in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), that resulted in flooding in many parts of Dubai and other emirates due to which flights from Mangalore International Airport (MIA) to Dubai faced delays and disruptions. Moreover, one flight scheduled from Dubai to Mangalore was cancelled, while another flight had not departed from Dubai due to waterlogging at the airport on Tuesday. Consequently, flights that took off from MIA bound for Dubai were rerouted to alternative airports in Muscat and Bahrain.

The cancelled flights on Wednesday operating between MIA and Dubai include: IX814 – (Dubai-Mangalore ); IX 813 – (Mangalore -Dubai); IX384 – (Dubai-Mangalore ); and IX383 – (Mangalore -Dubai-Mangalore ); IX 1499 TRZ-IXE – (Tiruchirappalli-Mangalore ). On Thursday, IX-814 from Dubai to Mangalore will be cancelled. The flights delayed on Wednesday are: IX 797 (Mangalore -Jeddah). On Thursday, IX 796 – Jeddah to Mangalore and IX 1498 Mangalore to Tiruchirappalli will also be delayed due to bad weather.
