Work on Platform No 4 & 5 at Mangalore Central Railway Station Under Progress: To Be Completed Soon

The platform Side wall work for new Island Platform – No. 4 and 5 at Mangalore Central Railway station under progress. The work of the platform construction commenced in May 2022. The new island platform will have a length of 540 metre and 10 metre width. The platform can hold 24 LHB coaches or 26 ICF make Coaches.The island platform construction worth Rs.4.5 Crore will be completed by February 2023.

At present, a major portion of the Platform side wall work and earth filling has been completed. Flooring, sheltering work and the extension of the Foot Over Bridge work are remaining.
