Yoga Performer Tanushree Pitrodi From Udupi Sets World Record: Performs 108 Asanas in 3.29 Minutes

Tanushree Pitrodi, a student at St Cicily high school and a Yoga exponent has set her 8th world record by performing 108 yoga asanas in just 3.29 minutes, earning herself a place in the Golden Book of World Records. The event, took place at the Bannanje Narayana Guru Auditorium. The 108 karanas, a combination of leg movements, hand gestures, and body postures, have their origins in Lord Shiva and have been codified in the Natya Shastra. Her guru, Ramakrishna Kodancha, stated that these asanas are a part of Natya Shastra.

The representative of the Golden Book of World Records organization, Gaurav Mithal, presented the certificate of records to Tanushree during the event. Notably, Tanushree has previously achieved one Guinness record and seven records in the Golden Book.
