Youth dies after swimming at Mangala swimming pool

A 19-year-old youth lost his life while swimming at Mangala swimming pool in Mangalore on Sunday. The deceased has been identified as Yagnesh, son of Bhaskar, a resident of Maroli.
Yagnesh had gone to swim with his friends to Mangala swimming pool at around 5.30 pm on Sunday. While swimming, he told his friends that he felt tired.
He was immediately taken out of the pool and rushed to a hospital, where he was declared brought dead.
The police have registered a case of unnatural death at Barke police station, based on a complaint filed by his father, Bhaskar.
