Youth loses life after falling from an under-construction house

April 15: A youth lost his life after he accidentally fell off from an under-construction house at Karambar in Bajpe. The deceased has been identified as Deekshith Raj, son of Malavoor gram panchayat member Lakshman.
The family has been constructing a new house at Karambar. The incident occured on Sunday night when Deekshith climbed to the top of the under-construction house and started water-curing the concrete. While doing so, he slipped and fell off. Even though he was rushed to hospital, he passed away the next morning.
Sources said that Deekshith was involved in BJP’s party activities.
MP Nalin Kumar Kateel, MLA Umanath Kotian, district BJP vice-president Ravishankar Mijar visited the hospital and expressed condolences.
