Dakshina Kannada, Udupi Celebrate Eid ul-Fitr on April 10

Al Haj Twaqa Ahmad Musliyar, district Qazi of Dakshina Kannada, has announced that Eid-ul-Fitr will be celebrated on Wednesday April 10 in the coastal districts of Dakshina Kannada and Udupi, in view of the moon sighting in Ponnani, Kerala on Tuesday April 9.

Eid ul-Fitr is the most auspicious festivals for Muslim community and is celebrated across the globe . It marks the end of the Islamic holy month of Ramadan.
