Miscreants threw stones at a KSRTC Bus: Know what happened

May 26: Muslim League workers from Kasaragod were celebrating the victory of the Congress candidate Rajmohan Unnithan who won from the Kasaragod LS seat. The party workers who were in four bikes waving their party flags crossed the border into Karnataka and when the police attempted to stop them, they pelted stones at the police. When the police took them into custody, other youth on over 50 bikes reached the border and begun pelting stones at the police. In order to bring the situation under control, police resorted to lathi charge.
The miscreants also threw stones at a KSRTC bus which was plying from Mudigere in Chikkamagaluru for a wedding programme in Thrikaripur, Kasargod. Mangalore city Commissioner of Police Sandeep Patil rushed to the spot and told Kerala and Ullal police to take action against the miscreants.
