Several parts of Dakshina Kannada district on received widespread rainfall along with lightening and thunder on October 14 evening. Heavy showers were reported across Mangalore, Bantwal, Beltangady, Subrahmanya, and Sullia.
The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), has issued a yellow alert for the coastal region from October 15 to 18, forecasting the possibility of more widespread rainfall during this period.
