National Conference DAKSH Organized by ICAI For CA Members Held on December 12th at Indiana Convention Centre

Ceremony of CA Members National Conference DAKSH held on December 12th at Indiana Convention Centre. The Conference was organised by the Professional Development Committee of ICAI & hosted by the Mangalore Branch.

Speaking on the occasion the Guest of Honour Sri Pramod Madhwaraj, Former Minister Government of Karnataka stated that the undivided DK district has a great role in building economy from the banking sector, the education sector, health sector etc. the district of DK and Udupi have always been on the top. He emphasised the role of Chartered Accountants in shaping the entrepreneurial spirits and also highlighted the need to stay updated so that stakeholders are best serviced. He complimented the Mangalore branch for organising the wonderful 2 day conference.

CA. Aniket Sunil Talati, Chief Guest said that Mangalore Branch is one of the vibrant branches of ICAI. The Institute as such is known for maintaining highest ethical standards and ICAI closely works with the government and its members ensure right taxes are paid by the citizens. 75 years of ICAI has always been of Trust and Integrity. He lauded the Mangalore Branch for hosting this meaningful conference.

The conference was attended by 554 delegates and is spread over a span of 2 days covering topics of Artificial Intelligence, GST, Income Tax, Forensic Audit and Financial Reporting & Review.

CA. Gautham Pai D. Chairman of Mangalore Branch welcomed the gathering. CA. Prashanth Pai, Vice Chairman presented the overview of the conference and CA. Daniel M Pereira, Secretary rendered the vote of thanks. CA. Mamta Rao, Treasurer, CA. Gautham Nayak, Past Chairman and CA. Prasanna Shenoy, Past Chairman were also present on the occasion.
