Bangalore-Mangalore Special Trains Cancelled: Is Lack Of Passengers The Reason?

October 3: The daily train service between Bangalore and Karwar via Mangalore had been started recently after remaining cancelled for several months due to coronavirus fears. But the train service has been suffering from lack of passengers.
South Western Railway has temporarily cancelled Bangalore-Mangalore Central-Bangalore special express due to less passengers. The Bangalore-Mangalore train service will be cancelled from October 7 and Mangalore -Bangalore service cancelled from October 11.
