Protest by Members of Youth Congress in Mangalore: This is the Reason

August 31:  Members of Youth Congress staged a protest outside the office of District Congress Committee in Mangalore on Friday,August 30. Youth Congress President Mithun Rai said that the  Centre is misusing the investigation agencies and has set out to arrest Congress leaders.

He accused Enforcement Directorate and Income Tax department of harassing former minister D K Shivakumar. The protesters raised slogans against Central government and BJP and tried to block the road. The police detained Mithun Rai and others who were later released by the police.
