Following landslips at Marenahalli on National Highway 75, near Sakaleshpur, Hassan Deputy Commissioner K.S. Lathakumari has ordered the diversion of traffic on Bangalore -Mangalore highway.
The DC said that the vehicles heading towards Mangalore from Hassan can take the alternative Belur-Charmadi-Mangalore route. Similarly, those from Mangalore can take Sampaje – Charmadi Ghat – Belur route.
There have been multiple incidents of landslips along NH-75 that connects Bangalore and Mangalore cities.
