Railways will operate a special train between Hyderabad and Mangalore Central to clear extra rush of passengers for four round trips this month.
A rlease from Southern Railway’s Palakkad Division said Train No. 07097 Hyderabad – Mangalore Central Special Express will leave Hyderabad at 4.20 a.m. from June 3 to 24 (Wednesdays) to reach Mangalore Central at 09.30 a.m. the next day.
Train No. 07098 Mangalore Central – Hyderabad Special Express will leave Mangalore Central at 8 p.m. from June 4 to 25 (Thursdays) to reach Hyderabad at 4 a.m. on Saturdays.
For the return journey, Train No. 07098 Mangalore Central-Hyderabad Special Express will run on Thursdays from June 4 to June 25. It will leave Mangalore Central at 8:00 p.m. and arrive in Hyderabad at 4:00 a.m. on Saturday.
The special train has been introduced to meet the increased passenger demand and offer more seats during the busy travel period. It will consist of a total of 24 coaches, including three AC 2-tier coaches, five AC 3-tier coaches, ten sleeper class coaches, four general second-class coaches, and two luggage-cum-brake vans. This composition will cater to passengers with different travel preferences and budgets.
