The South Western Railway (SWR) has extended the cancellation day train services on the Bangalore-Mangalore/Karwar sector The South Western Railway (SWR) has extended the cancellation day train services on the Bangalore-Mangalore/Karwar sector until Dec 16. This decision was taken to complete the ongoing railway electrification (RE) work on the Sakleshpur-Subrahmanya Road (SBHR) Ghat section of the Hassan-Mangalore line.
The following trains will remain cancelled.
Train No. 16539, Yesvantpur-Mangalore Junction (MAJN) Weekly Express, until Dec13.
Train No. 16540, MAJN-Yesvantpur Weekly Express, until Dec 14.
Train No. 16575, Yesvantpur-MAJN tri-Weekly Gomateshwara Express, until Dec 14.
Train No. 16576, MAJN-Yesvantpur tri-Weekly Gomateshwara Express, until Dec 15.
Train No. 16515, Yesvantpur-Karwar tri-Weekly Express, until Dec15.
Train No. 16516, Karwar-Yesvantpur tri-Weekly Express, until Dec 16.
