Konkan Railway Corporation Ltd. has introduced a digital locker facility to keep passengers’ luggage. This is said to be the first-of-its-kind in Karnataka.
Differential tariff were fixed for small, medium, large, and extra-large lockers. For a three-hour duration, the charges are fixed at ₹15, ₹20, ₹40, and ₹60 respectively for these boxes. Tariffs go up for six, 12, and 24 hours duration. Passengers can make use of the facility that has 15 lockers using the QR code mentioned on the boxes without human intervention. Locking and unlocking could be done by scanning the code.
