India Meteorological Department, said that heavy rain (64.5 mm to 115.5 mm) with sustained winds (40-50 kmph) likely to occur at a few places and very heavy to extremely heavy rain (115.6 mm to 205.4 mm and above) with sustained winds (40-50 kmph) likely at one or two places over Dakshina Kannada, Udupi, and Uttara Kannada districts on May 27, Tuesday.
It said heavy to very heavy rain with sustained winds (40-50 kmph) likely to occur at one or two places over Dakshina Kannada, Udupi and Uttara Kannada districts for three days from May 28 to May 30. Dakshina Kannada recorded 144.5 mm rainfall and Udupi district reported 65.4 mm rainfall during the period.
